WARRANTY INFORMATION
Capitol City Limited Warranty
Although we do not anticipate any problem, your new mattress and foundation are warranted against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for a period determined above excluding the cover. (Covers shall be warranted for a period of one year against manufacturer defects.) In the unlikely event should you require such a claim, you should notify your original Dealer and furnish proof of purchase and the date of sale. If service resulting from a defect in material or workmanship is required during the first three years of purchase, your Capitol City mattress or foundation will be repaired or replaced (at Capitol City’s option), to you at no charge. In addition, provided the service is handled through the original Dealer and the owner still resides in the Dealer’s service area, there is no charge for transportation from the dealer to the manufacturer. If the Dealer no longer exists or the customer has moved outside his service area, transportation to and from the factory is the consumer’s responsibility. A substitute mattress or foundation will not be supplied while the warranty issue is being resolved.
If identical materials are not available at the time of repair or replacement, the manufacturer reserves the right to substitute materials of equal quality. To qualify for service under this warranty the mattress and foundation must be in good condition, with the exception of the defect to be remedied, and not otherwise damaged, abused or in any unsanitary condition. Failure to comply with the simple rules for care set forth on this site may results in damage or abuse, and consequent loss of warranty privileges.
This warranty is given by the manufacturer to the original purchaser and is not transferable. (Proof of purchase and date of sale required) Repair of the mattress or foundation does not extend the duration of this limited warranty or begin a new limited warranty period.
